2 Introduction

This lab is an introduction to using MATLAB to control an input/output (I/O) board. Students will learn how to:

• use a multimeter to measure voltage, current, and resistance
• assemble simple electronic circuits
• use MATLAB to control the Phidget I/O boards used in this course
