Notes

In the first lecture we covered the relative orientation problem and gave a few hints about the Least Squares technique.

In the second lecture (March 16) we covered Lagrange Multipliers and started with Maximum Likelihood

You can choose one or two papers from this list of papers for the first report. The first report should be based on at least three related papers of which at least one should not be on the list. The theme could be the evolution of an idea, the relative merits of two contrasting ideas or a survey of a small part of the field.
