2 Introduction

This lab is an introduction to using MATLAB in the William Small Computing Laboratory. Students will learn how to:

• use the CentOS Linux operating system
• access the lab materials
• use MATLAB in the William Small labs
• write simple user-defined functions in MATLAB
• write simple scripts in MATLAB
• electronically submit and retrieve your work
