Information Regarding the Final Exam
- The official location is announced by the registrar's office, CSE B, The unofficial location is nearby, in CSE 1006 (the same place where we wrote labtest #3).
- The final exam is open book.
- The exam will be printed on paper. Students will write the whole exam in the lab. Some questions will require use of the machines, other questions will be just paper and pencil.
- For the labtest-style questions, you will be given small applications (nothing as large, complex and undocumented as labtest#3). You will be asked to provide analysis, critique, or modification of the code.
- For the written-style questions, you can expect questions very similar to the quizzes. Chapter 11 will not be covered. The details concerning MVC as applied to collaborative/distributed apps will not be covered (but the material in Chapter 17 that concern the design space will be covered in one question).
