MRS - Movie Recommendation System

The Movie Recommendation System (MRS) served as a research sandbox during my graduate studies. It was a modern, prototype system that was providing recommendations for movies to users based on their profiles. The profiles were created dynamically as users were rating movies and were based on explicit ratings to movies, as well as, on implicit ratings to movie categories. Users had their own page where they could monitor their activity, get movie recommendations from the system, and find users with similar profiles towards the creation of virtual dynamic communities. The system was active between 2003 and 2005.
OQS - Online Questionnaire System

The Online Questionnaire System (OQS) was a modern web-based information system that could support the creation, management, completion and statistical analysis of online questionnaires (surveys). It initiated as a course project but I took the extra mile to turn it in an a free feature-rich online service. The system was active between 2002 and 2004.
