Initializes this object with the passed number, name, and expiry date, and the default limit.

Parameters:

cardNum - The number of the credit card.

cardName - The name on the credit card.

date - The expiry date of the credit card.

Method Detail

charge

public boolean charge(double amount)

Charges the passed amount to the card. The amount is added if the new balance is less than or equal to the card's current limit. If the charge is successful, reward points are added to this card. The number of points added equals the amount charged, rounded down to the closest integer.

Returns:

true if the charge is added, false otherwise.

getPointsBalance

public int getPointsBalance()

Returns the reward points balance for this card.

Returns:

the points balance for this card.

Returns the toString representation of this object. The dollar values are rounded to two decimal places.
