Lectures Schedule
The class meets once a week for lectures.
- Class: Wednesday 19:00 - 22:00 in SLH-E
- Office Hour: 4:00 - 6:30 on Mondays in CSEB3020
There are no weekly labs, but the midterm and final exam may have
a labtest portion.

Week 1 (May 4)
Reading material: Briefly review chapters 1 - 3 of the text and start reading chapters 4 and 5.
Lectures: Algorithm analysis. Linked lists.
Week 2 (May 11)
Reading material: Chapters 5
Lectures: Linear data structures: stacks, queues and deques, and their implementation
using arrays and linked lists.
Week 3 (May 18)
Reading material: Chapter 6 and 3.5
Lectures: Review of recursion and Java Lists.
Week 4 (May 25)
The university is closed on Monday, May 23 for "Victoria Day".
Reading material: Chapter 7.
Lectures: Trees
Week 5 (June 1)
Assignment 1 posted.
Reading material: Chapter 8.
Lectures: Priority Queues and Heaps
Week 6 (June 8)

It will be written in CLH C from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
It will consist of a written test only; there will be no labtest portion.
