Final exam

  • The final exam will take place during the exam period. (Final scheduling will be done by the Registrar's office.)
  • The final exam will cover chapters 1-11 of the textbook
  • Like the midterm, the final exam will involve a written part and a a programming part to be done in the lab.
  • The written portion is closed-book/no aids. The labtest portion is also closed-book/no aids. Any needed APIs will be provided.
  • On the day of the exam, remember to bring a photo ID and optionally a (non-electronic) dictionary.
  • An answer booklet will be provided and you will write everything in it. In particular, you may not bring any blank sheets of paper for scratch work.
  • The questions of the written part will focus on concepts, not on writing code. A sample of the written part can be found here.
