Check your final grades and component marks via
ePost.
From left to right, the components are:
- Overall letter grade (see the table below)
- Overall numeric grade (out of 100%)
- Final exam (out of 40 pts, weighted 30%)
- Midterm test (out of 40 pts, weighted 20%)
- Labtest 1 (out of 20 pts, weighted 10%)
- Labtest 2 (out of 100 pts, weighted 10%)
- Assignment 1 (out of 32 pts, weighted 10%)
- Assignment 2 (out of 100 pts, weighted 10%)
- Weekly labs (total of all labs, scaled to 10%)
Report errors to me by email ASAP and also cc the TA (lan @ cse . yorku . ca). Report an error only if the correct mark(s) will result in a change in your letter grade.
The weight distribution of the course components is as follows:
- 10% - Weekly labs (7 to 10)
- 20% - Assignments (2)
- 20% - Lab tests (2)
- 20% - Midterm test
- 30% - Final exam
Conversion from numeric to letter grade is applied to the overall mark only in accordance with the following departmental standard:
