Use this software only if
you have not managed to successfully install the compiler and the
editor and your operating system is one of Windows NT, 2000, or XP.
Before you run the YorkU_Fortran.msi, you should first uninstall and delete the Crimson editor, if you have previously installed it.
Now you can run the YorkU_Fortran.msi which will automatically create (or overwrite) the F folder and the other subdirectories, download and install the compiler in the correct directory and set up the environment variables for Windows.
It will also download and
install the Crimson editor and will set up the required parameters in the
Preferences and User Tools.
Hopefully this will create for you the proper home environment for this course.
