Assignments and Lab Tests
Assignment 2
Makeup Lab Test 1
Assignment 1
Overview
- The two assignments will be written in lab (similarly to lab tests in
CSE 1030).
- You will be given a set of 5 to 8 programming problems two weeks before
the lab session. Work on those problems individually or in group.
- One or two problems from that set will be chosen as the questions for the lab test.
- So it is like a mini-test, except that you know all the questions (and
answers) in advance.
- It is an easy way to earn 20% of the final grade!
Test Dates
- Thursday, October 8, 17:30-19:00, CSEB-1006 and CSEB-1004
- Thursday, November 26, 17:30-19:00, CSEB-1006 and CSEB-1004
Lab Test Rules
- Be present on time. You will not be allowed to enter the lab after 18:00.
- Turn off cell phones and pagers while in the lab.
- After entering the lab, no one will be allowed to leave before 18:00.
-
This is a closed book "test". Please put away all your materials and keep only a pen or pencil. The lab monitor will give you
some paper for scrap work.
-
Towards the end of the lab session, you will see a warning message that time is running out and
the system will be re-booted soon. Submit your work before you are logged off the system, or
all your work will be lost.
Lab Practice Dates
