The final exam will be held on December  5, as follows:

Date: December 5, 2007

Time: 2 pm (3 hrs)

Location: CB 115

The chapters/sections covered in this exam are: 1, 2, 3, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1-5.5, 6.1 - 6.3, 19 (up to 3NF and BCNF; not 4NF), and whatever we covered in class from transaction processing.

Conditions: If, for whatever reason, you miss this test, you will have to petition for taking it on a deferred standing status. It typically takes about 1 month or more for your petition to be processed. Your petition may be granted or denied, based on the reasons for which you failed to take the original test as well as the documentation you provide with your petition. If your petition is approved, then a test will be scheduled for you at some point, usually during the next term and as late as during the final exam period in of that term.
