Oct 22 IMPORTANT: The co-curriculur days really mess up the lab schedule. Test 2 will take place on Thu Nov 7 and Tue Nov 12. This means that you will NOT have your Test 2 result before the last date to drop the course (Nov 8).
Lab 05 is posted.
Oct 6 Lab 1 and Lab 2 marks are on ePost.
Lab 2 feedback has been sent to your York email account (or your CSE email account if you do not have a York account).
Oct 1 The test next week is in your regularly scheduled lab. It consists of a few written questions that you will submit electronically, and one or more small programming questions. You have access to everything on the course web site during the test.
Some practice programming questions have been posted on the lectures part of the website.
Lab 03 is posted.
Sep 24 There was a typo in the email address of your Bethune College class rep; this has now been fixed in the announcement below and in the Day 5 lecture slides.
Next ACM Programming Team contest is Friday October 4, 16:00-18:00 in LAS 1004.
The student who is currently taking 1030 with the best score in the contest will win a copy of the book Data Structures and the Java Collection Framework.

Sep 19 I've been getting some questions on how to generate the Javadoc for the lab. It is not required, but if you want to you should follow the instructions here.

Sep 11    Lectures are starting to appear.
Lab 00 is posted. This lab is a quick introduction to eclipse and the CSE teaching lab environment.
If you are new to eclipse or the the CSE labs then you should work through
the lab on one of the computers in the CSE teaching labs. Otherwise, you should
review the lab to ensure that you are comfortable with the material.
There is no lab this week. Labs start Sep 17.
