June 16, 2009 – Final reports (marked and commented) are available for pick up.  They are in the temporary CSE main office, 340 Lumbers.  Have a good summer.  


June 4, 2009 – The marks for the final project are now posted.  To view your mark, log on to Prism and issue the command courseInfo 4441.   Unfortunately, the papers are not yet available to be picked up, as they are over in engineering being photocopied.  I'll post a note here when the papers are available to be picked up.


May 14, 2009 – The deadline for the project is extended to Sunday, May 24 @ 11:59 p.m.  Two important points: (i) This is a "hard" deadline.  Papers submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.  (ii) Papers must be submitted using the submit command, as described in the project write-up.  Email attachments will not be accepted.

Apr 1, 2009 – Here are two additional papers to read (LetterScroll: Text entry using a wheel for visually impaired users | Eyes-free text entry on a touchscreen phone).  (Note: The second paper does not list the author's names because it is still under review.)  These papers will be discussed in class next week.

Mar 29, 2009 – Please read the following paper: Evaluation of Text Entry Techniques.  Although the discussions are framed in terms of text entry, the paper discusses many issues that are important to experimental evaluations in general


Mar 27, 2009 – Here are the results for the simple experiment we did in class yesterday (results) as well as the handout and the anova application to do the analyses (anova.zip).  The results do not yet include the questionnaire data.  They will be updated next week sometime.
