What's New

  • Dec. 16: Click here to check your project and final exam marks and UNOFFICIAL overall grades (will be removed after December 21). The grades will have to be verified and approved by the department to be official.
    • Office hour: Monday, Dec. 17, 12:00-13:00, CSEB-2024.
    • Here is the project marking scheme.
    • Check the grades of the midterm and quizzes to make sure everything is correct. If there is any error, please come to the office hour on Monday, or email me a scan of the first page of the test with the updated mark by 1PM on Monday.

  • Dec. 15: Final exam and project marks will be posted by Sunday night. I will give office hours on Monday, Dec. 17, 12:00-13:00, in case you would want to take a look at your exam paper. Project reports will also be available for pick-up on Monday.

  • Dec. 3: Quiz 2 marks and brief solutions have been posted (will be removed after Dec. 6). The quiz papers will be placed outside CSEB-2024 for pickup between 4PM-5PM on Monday and 3PM-5PM on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Nov. 30: Office hour today is given in CSEB-2013, 4PM-4:45PM. Quiz 2 can be picked up from the TA during the office hour in CSEB-2013. Brief solutions to quiz 2 will be posted early next week.
  • Nov. 21: Solutions to the assignment questions have been posted. Course evaluation will be conducted tomorrow in the lecture.
  • Nov. 18: The due date of the project has been extended to Dec. 3. TA office hours have also been changed because the Prism lab is almost fully booked. See the new schedule under link "Projects".
  • Nov. 15: Assignment 2 and TA office hours for the project and the assignment have been posted.
  • Nov. 12: The project description has been posted. See under link "Projects".
  • Nov. 9: Midterm grades have been posted (will be removed after November 12).
  • Nov. 8: Today we will cover TCP (Chapter 20) to prepare for the project, which will be posted this weekend. The midterm tests will be returned in class today. The marks will be posted online tomorrow morning in case you can't pick up your paper.
  • Oct. 29: Office hours before the midterm test:
    • Tue, Oct. 30, 4PM-5PM.
    • Wed, Oct. 31, 6PM-8PM, CSEB-2013, with the TA (Note the new time!)
    • Thu, Nov. 1, 5PM-6PM.
  • Oct. 25: Solutions to Quiz 1 will be discussed briefly in class and will not be posted.
  • Oct. 12: Today's office hour is cancelled.
  • Oct. 11: The answer to question 9 posted earlier was wrong. The correct answer has been posted. Please check the solutions again. We are sorry about this error.
  • Oct. 9: Solutions to the assignment questions have been posted.
  • Oct. 2: TA office hours have been posted on the "Assignments" page.
  • Sept. 28: Today's office hours are moved to 4:45-5:30.
